App OKRA™ – Product Terms of Use

These App OKRA™ Product Terms of Use (“App Terms”) are part of the OKRA™ Master Terms of Service and apply specifically to the App OKRA™ product. This page covers new app (MVP) builds only. If you need a website, or you have an existing site or app to modernize, see the cross-references at the end of these Terms.

  1. Product Overview

App OKRA™ provides a structured minimum viable product (MVP) web application designed to support basic business workflows such as lead capture, appointment handling, submissions, or data processing.

This product is intended for early-stage functionality and does not include enterprise-level systems, large-scale infrastructure, or highly complex custom software unless separately agreed in writing.

  2. Base Price

The base price for App OKRA™ is $399 USD.

This price includes only the features and scope explicitly listed in these Terms. Any additional features, workflows, or system requirements outside this scope require additional fees.

  3. Deposit and Project Start

A $100 USD refundable deposit is required to begin your project. The deposit:

    • reserves your project slot and starts your wireframe (the initial layout and workflow of your app),
    • is applied toward your base price when the project moves into build,
    • is fully refundable if you review your wireframe and decide not to continue within the 72-hour review window described in the Design Process and Revision section below.

Once the wireframe is approved—either by you approving it, or by the 72-hour window passing without a response—the deposit is applied to your total and the build begins.

  4. Included Consultation

Your App OKRA™ project includes up to sixty (60) minutes of live consultation, split across the project:

    • Initial consultation: up to thirty (30) minutes to understand your business and plan your build.
    • Revision-round follow-up: up to thirty (30) minutes during your revision round, if needed once you become a client.

This is enough time for us to understand your workflow and build your MVP right. Keeping our sessions focused is part of what keeps our pricing low—the low cost depends on efficient, well-prepared consultations.

Because App OKRA™ is a minimum viable product, deeper product discovery—defining a larger application, mapping custom workflows, clarifying MVP scope beyond the base, or planning data, automation, or algorithm work—goes beyond this product. That work is handled under the NBLK® Consulting Services Agreement (Form CSA-121-N1) at NBLK®’s standard consulting rate, with a two-hour minimum. We will always let you know before anything becomes billable.

  5. Scope of Service

The App OKRA™ base product includes:

    • One (1) web-based application consisting of up to two (2) primary pages
    • Up to ten (10) form fields per page
    • A structured user interaction flow (such as intake, booking, or submission)
    • Basic front-end interface design
    • One (1) automated confirmation, summary, or response output
    • Basic workflow logic tied to form submission

The app is built as a functional MVP and is not intended to replicate full-scale platforms or complex software systems.

  6. Content and Input Requirements

The Client may provide all required content, labels, field definitions, workflow instructions, and logic requirements up until the time the wireframe revision and approval period ends.

If content or workflow instructions are not provided within the required timeframe, NBLK® may proceed with a standard or simplified structure.

NBLK® is not responsible for incorrect logic, missing inputs, or workflow gaps resulting from incomplete Client instructions.

  7. Design Process and Revision

App OKRA™ follows the standard OKRA™ design process:

    • A wireframe or workflow structure is created after deposit
    • One (1) revision round is included at the wireframe stage
    • All revisions must be submitted in a single consolidated request

Additional revision rounds beyond the included round will require additional fees.

Failure to respond within the 72-hour review window results in automatic approval and progression to build.

  8. Recommended Approach: Start With Your Base Build

The best results—and the lowest cost—come from starting with your base MVP, launching it, and letting real usage guide what you build next.

As people actually use your app, you will see clearly what it needs. Each addition can then be made as a small, separate build, quoted individually and scheduled after your base app is live. This keeps your cost low and your project moving, and avoids the delays and added cost that come from trying to define everything up front.

  9. Add-Ons

Add-ons extend your app beyond the base scope. They are quoted separately, priced per the current OKRA™ add-on pricing, and are typically sequenced after your base app ships.

You can add them whenever you are ready—there is no need to decide everything at the start.

  10. Database and Backend Requirements

App OKRA™ requires a database system to support backend processing, data storage, and workflow execution.

    10.1 Client-Provided Database

If the Client has an existing database system, they must provide appropriate access and configuration details required for integration.

NBLK® is not responsible for performance, limitations, or issues related to Client-provided infrastructure.

10.2 NBLK®-Provided Database (If Client Does Not Have One)

If the Client does not have a dedicated database system:

    • NBLK® may provide and manage a database system on behalf of the Client
    • This service is billed at $10 USD per month
    • This includes basic hosting and operational support for the database

10.3 Database Build and Processing Setup

If backend processing, logic, workflows, or database structure must be created:

    • A one-time build fee ranging from $75 to $175 USD will apply depending on complexity
    • This includes:
    • data structure setup
    • basic workflow logic
    • notification or processing configuration

Additional backend changes, expansions, or custom logic beyond the initial build will require additional fees.

    10.4 Transfer of Database

At any time, the Client may choose to move to their own dedicated database system. Upon request:

    • NBLK® will provide the necessary structure, and your raw data is transferred to you securely
    • ongoing hosting fees stop once services are discontinued
    • NBLK® is not responsible for migration issues outside its direct control

Once transferred, you become responsible for your database, automation, and compliance from that point forward.

  11. What Is Not Included

The following are not included in the base App OKRA™ product:

    • mobile app store deployment (iOS or Android apps)
    • complex multi-user systems or account management systems
    • advanced authentication or security systems
    • large-scale database architecture
    • real-time systems or high-volume processing systems
    • advanced integrations with multiple third-party platforms
    • AI-based automation unless separately purchased
    • ongoing maintenance or updates
    • unlimited revisions

Any of the above may be available as add-ons at additional cost.

  12. Hosting

If required, hosting for the application may be provided under the standard OKRA™ hosting terms. NBLK® is not responsible for third-party hosting performance or outages.

If you move the app to your own hosting, we will provide what is needed for the transfer. A one-time setup or transfer fee may apply per current OKRA™ add-on pricing.

  13. Delivery Timeline

After wireframe approval, the app is typically delivered within approximately seven (7) days.

    This timeline depends on:

    • Client responsiveness
    • clarity of workflow requirements
    • backend complexity
    • third-party services or integrations

Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

  14. Ownership

Upon full payment of the base price and any applicable add-ons:

    • the Client owns the application interface and logic
    • the Client may use, modify, or transfer the application

    Until full payment is completed:

    • NBLK® retains ownership
    • the application may not be independently deployed or reused by the Client
  15. Performance and Functionality Disclaimer

App OKRA™ provides a functional MVP system. NBLK® does not guarantee:

    • scalability beyond initial use
    • system performance under high usage
    • uninterrupted operation
    • business outcomes or revenue generation

The Client acknowledges that additional development may be required as the business grows.

  16. Client Responsibility After Delivery

After delivery, the Client is responsible for:

    • managing workflows and data usage
    • maintaining infrastructure if self-hosted
    • ensuring compliance with data laws and regulations

NBLK® is not responsible for data handling practices or legal compliance of the Client’s system.

  17. After Your Build: NNX1® and NBLK®

Completing a project with OKRA™ gives you an account on NNX1® (www.nnx1.com), our small-business diagnostic engine.

NNX1® provides a comprehensive picture of your business—assessing your company alongside industry, market, and demographic data, and offering recommendations across the major indicators of business performance.

For substantial data, automation, algorithm, or AI work beyond the MVP scope—and for deeper data infrastructure and cloud work—those services are provided through our parent company, NBLK® LLC, under a separate consulting agreement (Form CSA-121-N1) and a separate build agreement.

  18. Right to Refuse Service

NBLK® reserves the right to refuse or terminate app development for projects involving:

    • illegal activities
    • fraudulent systems
    • harmful, deceptive, or abusive workflows
  19. Building Something Else?

These App Terms cover new app (MVP) builds only.

  20. Acceptance

By purchasing App OKRA™, the Client confirms they understand:

    • this is a minimum viable product, not a full-scale application
    • backend systems may require additional setup and cost
    • anything not explicitly listed is not included
